Tennessee REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC)
"Just because you do not take an interest in politics does not mean that politics will not take an interest in you." - Pericles
RPAC is the political action committee of the Tennessee Association of REALTORS®, serving as our membership's voice in politics. Your RPAC funds are used to elect pro-REALTOR® candidates at the federal, state, and local levels.
In the 2006 election cycle, RPAC disbursed over $216,000 in direct contributions to state candidates, making RPAC the number one trade association PAC in Tennessee. On Election Day 2006, 99% of RPAC-supported candidates were successful.
RPAC helped to elect seven REALTORS® to the 105th General Assembly. They are Lt. Governor and Speaker of the Senate Ron Ramsey (R-Blountville), Sen. Tommy Kilby (D-Wartburg), Rep. Gerald McCormick (R-Chattanooga), Rep. Steve McDaniel (R-Parkers Crossroads), Rep. Curt Cobb (D-Shelbyville), and Rep. Randy Rinks (D-Savannah).
