The TAR Governmental Affairs Committee has voted to support asking the Tennessee General Assembly to allow us to create our own REALTOR® license plate.
In January of 2008 TAR will introduce legislation to allow the state to create the plate. We will, with your help, work to secure passage of the bill allowing the plate.
Once we pass the bill, 1,000 REALTORS® must sign up for the plate before the state will produce them.
Therefore, lets show the members of the General Assembly how committed we are to having this plate! When TAR gets 1,000 people to sign the petition, we will present that to the General Assembly in order to further stress our commitment to having our own license plate.
